Mick and Jimmys in Kenmare

Lovely restaurant in the centre of Kenmare. They had authentic food from all over the world. I had the jamaican jerky chicken which tasted amazing!The ambiance was fine, the staff was very friendly and the prices were fair. I would very much recommend this place!

Our first visit here and definitely not disappointed! The service and food were both fabulous! We went around 8:30 for breakfast when the place was nearly empty, and it filled up fast!

Kenmare was the last stop of our Ring of Kerry tour and we couldn't have asked for a nicer culinary ending. As a vegan it was great to see some delicious vegan options and my partner enjoyed the ommlet very much. Also best chips in Kerry for us :D Besides the food and the lovely team looking after us well, we were lucky to have two Irish musicians playing the piano and Celtic harp. This was a lovely Irish experience, which we enjoyed very much. Great experience on all levels: Food, service and entertainment.

Breakfast? Stop searching and scrolling, this is the place you want to get it at. Portions, large.. quality, high... service, prompt. This had been my breakfast highlight on our trip through Southwest Ireland. Drop in, you won't be disappointed.

Had the vegetarian breakfast which was lovely. Wife had an omelette which she really enjoyed.Not surprised its a busy spot

A great taste of the Irish breakfast!! Compared to other restaurants, the presentation was definitely more beautiful and sophisticated rather than beans just slapped onto the plate.A clean cute cozy restaurant that serves some fantastic food. We all enjoyed our breakfast.The fuel muffin was great as well. Moist, tasty, and healthy so I didn't feel any guilt eating it.The owners are also very friendly and took the time to talk to us. I would definitely come visit again the next time I'm in the area.

Excellent Cafe/Bistro/Restaurant. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good food, fantastic value and... They let you park your precious bike in the side entrance where you can see it!

Strolling around in Kenmare we were driven to get into this place by the lovely live jazz music playing inside. We waited very little for a table and the food was amazing! I highly recommend the "Nacho Libre" omelette. The place is cozy and it has a lovely staff. The price of the food is what you would pay for any brunch place. I would definitely come back for more <3

Mick & Jimmys makes great coffee, serves delicious, healthy food and always has a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere. You’ll never find Mick & Jimmys empty, from morning early, till afternoon late, it attracts visitors and locals alike. They are one of the earliest in town to open for breakfast. So if you are an early-bird, you’re in luck. They are kid friendly, with some high chairs available and a colouring book to keep them happy while you relax.My favourite breakfast is the Kale Pesto & Poached Eggs with a flat white.

This review is for coffee! If you need a quick hit if caffeine or one if the best hot chocolates in town — this is the place for you. We met the owners, bought a t-shirt and went on our merry way. I bet the food here is great too.

Best breakfast in Kenmare!! Our hosts recommend M&Js to us and we are so glad we stopped here. The food is fresh, quality is great, and the chefs flavors are on point. Cozy little place too. I had the Vegetarian Full Breakfast and my husband had the Huevos Rancheros. Both were delicious.

Even simple dishes can be brought to the level of awesomeness. This is here.

The absolute best breakfast we've had in all of Ireland perhaps even Europe itself!! Amazing variety.... lots of variations for vegan, vegetarians and gluten free people! Service was friendly and extremely quick! Chatted with Mick for a bit and he was such a kind owner, cheers!

Had two breakfasts there, and both were excellent. Service is just great. They use good quality and local ingredients. Selection of dishes is good, colourful place.

Best fry I had in a long time. Came back every morning I stayed in town.

The food was nice, we ordered a variety of burgers / sandwiches and thoroughly enjoyed them. The staff was friendly as well. The only thing I didn't love were the special juices on the menu, as I had hoped these would be freshly prepared but they were really just poured over from plastic bottles. For that, I thought they were a bit overpriced . Other than that, we had a great experience!

Lightly battered salmon was the best fish and chips I had in the UK. Dessert was amazing too. Highly recommended.

Really loved food here (mmmm crab meat sandwich!), and as well we were really lucky to be there on Sunday, then live music was played by two fantastic guys!

Would absolutely recommend! Came here with my family and not a thing left over after we ate as the food was so delicious. The pancake special with the lemon curd and berry compote was nothing short of divine 🤤 if you’re ever in Kenmare, definitely stop at Mick & Jimmys!

Lovely omelette. Great service friendly staff. Everything cooked freshly to order. Not your microwave rubbish. Great healthy options. And vegetarian options.

I ordered the full Irish vegetarian breakfast and my friend ordered the full Irish Breakfast. Both were delish !! As tourist we welcomed something local but yet familiar at the same time and this place delivered that. We also tried their homemade muffin. It was moist, healthy and delicious .... The place opens up early and ready to greet its customers with a happy smile. Mick was very pleasant, courteous and accommodating. He is Irish and had a friendly conversation of his years in the USA. Yes we would come back here again when we visit the area in the future.

This place came highly recommended and it did not disappoint! Even though they were very busy we were not kept waiting, and even if we were the food was well worth the wait! You will NOT be disappointed if you try this place.

The staff are excellent, but 11. 50 for a vegetarian breakfast was bit irish not full irish. 2 eggs 1 slice of toast a tiny portion of beans a tomato some relish accompanied by avocado and a potato farl.. Oh and a coffee.. Oh and I forgot mushrooms

Had our frat Irish breakfast here- it was super good! Staff are friendly and the baked goods were delicious! I wouldn’t hesitate to Come here again.
